Can Codex create and publish social posts?
With a ReelGenie connection, Codex can retrieve workspace guidance, work with saved Favourites, prepare finished media and copy, and manage review and delivery. The skill explains the workflow. MCP is the connection that gives Codex access to your authorized ReelGenie actions.
Codex creates the images with its image-generation tool. ReelGenie stores the finished files and handles supported delivery to your connected social accounts. You need Codex access with the relevant tools; ReelGenie's free plan does not include that access.

Sign in and connect your destination
Use Codex's in-app browser when available, or open the page it provides. Complete your own credentials and social-account consent. Free includes up to 10 workspaces. Start by connecting the social account you want to use for your first post.
Authorize the ReelGenie connection
Follow the token setup in ReelGenie integrations. Keep the token private. Codex should verify the workspaces and accounts it can reach before preparing a delivery.
Make and review the first post
Describe your audience and goal, choose an idea or reference, and agree on the script and visual direction. Review the finished carousel in ReelGenie. Confirm the account, mode and timing before approving.
A useful first prompt
Help me create an original carousel for my app. First read my workspace guidance and list the connected accounts. Suggest the angle, hook and cover visual, then wait for my feedback before generating the slides.
You can also ask Codex to save a Favourite, update workspace guidance, adjust the caption, or explain the current delivery status. Specify the workspace when you manage more than one brand.
Know when the workflow is complete.
For Instagram, check the publishing result. For the TikTok inbox workflow, check that the draft was delivered and finish publishing in TikTok. A queued task or a sent draft is not proof of a public TikTok post.
If setup stops, ask Codex to identify the missing step: skill installation, MCP connection, sign-in, account consent or publishing permission. Never paste a private token into a public post or shared document.
