Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ReelGenie collects, how it is used, and what controls you have.

Information we collect

  • Account data such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
  • Workspace data you create in ReelGenie, including strategy inputs and generated content.
  • Operational and usage data such as logs, device/browser details, and feature interactions.
  • Billing-related metadata from payment providers for subscription and invoicing operations.
  • If you connect Facebook Pages or Instagram professional accounts, we collect the account identifiers, usernames, profile image URLs, granted permissions/scopes, encrypted access tokens, and publishing metadata needed to authenticate the integration and publish content you request.
  • If you connect YouTube, we collect the Google account and YouTube channel data needed to authorize the integration, upload content you request, and retrieve limited channel/video metadata relevant to ReelGenie publishing workflows.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and maintain the ReelGenie platform.
  • Support publishing workflows, including draft and direct route integrations.
  • Improve product quality, reliability, and user experience.
  • Send transactional notices about account, billing, and policy updates.
  • Authenticate and operate connected Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube publishing flows.

How we share information

We may share data with trusted service providers that help operate ReelGenie, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, and payments providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect platform integrity.

Facebook and Instagram integration data

If you connect Facebook or Instagram to ReelGenie, we may process data such as your Facebook Page ID, Instagram professional account ID, username, profile image, granted permissions, encrypted access tokens, and the publishing metadata needed to create and manage posts you request through ReelGenie.

  • We use this data only to authenticate your connected account, publish or manage content you request, maintain the integration, and support related operational logging and troubleshooting.
  • We do not sell Facebook or Instagram user data, and we do not use Facebook or Instagram integration data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • We do not share Facebook or Instagram integration data with third parties except as needed to provide the requested service, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of ReelGenie.

Google and YouTube user data

If you connect YouTube, ReelGenie may process Google user data such as your channel identifier, channel name, profile image, OAuth scopes, encrypted access and refresh tokens, upload metadata you provide, and performance data for videos published through ReelGenie.

  • We use this data only to authenticate your account, upload or manage YouTube Shorts you request, refresh authorization, and retrieve limited metrics or channel details needed to operate the integration.
  • We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data obtained through Google APIs to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • We do not share Google user data with third parties except as needed to provide the requested integration, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of ReelGenie.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and account status.

How we protect sensitive data

  • Sensitive integration credentials are encrypted at rest before storage.
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted network connections.
  • Access to sensitive integration data is restricted through authenticated, role-based access controls and server-side secret management.
  • When ReelGenie needs to provide stored media to a connected platform for publishing, it uses time-limited signed URLs rather than making those storage objects public.

Your choices and rights

  • You can request updates or deletion of personal data, subject to legal and operational limits.
  • You can manage cookie settings in your browser and review our cookie policy.
  • You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

Third-party platforms

ReelGenie integrates with third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Use of those services is also subject to each platform’s terms and privacy policies.
